ABOUT US
K2 Rock Metal Band ("K2") is a London-based Hard Rock/Metal band formed in late 2024. After many months of writing originals and with tightening up in rehearsals, the band finally hit the stage and has now begun making serious noise starting November 2025 with our debut Rock Gig at the famous Arizona Ruta 66 Rock Bar near Cartegna, Spain.
Fueled by a shared passion for raw, powerful rock and heavy metal, K2 is a live band through and through. Our music is made to be felt in your chest, screamed back from the crowd and blasted through amps. Our goal is to be as good LIVE as any in our genre.
With energy that’s building and songs that are starting to speak for themselves, K2 is gelling — and we’re gearing up to connect with the hard rock and metal audience that gets what it’s all about. K2 is on a mission, we will finesse, band is always first, music second, and always fully fan focused for the LIVE music real down to earth normal rock/metal heads crave.
The band has spent most of 2025 preparing, creating ideas to material and rehearsals. We like all bands had a few bumps and setbacks along the way. We lost Jimmy M early on tragically to illness. We also lost a few musicians for one reason or another, the usual formation teething problems many new bands encounter.
However, for this combined effort up front, K2 has now released two albums on streaming platforms, it's debut in 2025 - 'K2 Summit Born', quickly followed up by the 2nd Album: aptly called 'Winter Call' in early 2026. With now over 46 'Original Songs' and nearly 4 hours of original material, the band is now soley focussed on rehearsing and doing live gigs for hard rock/metal fans, the larger and longer the better. Jimmy is no longer with us (RIP Feb 2025), he was with the band at inception, full of enthusiasm for where we wanted to take K2. He inspires us to work hard in honour of his memory. Our Debut Album - K2 Summit Born and the song 'Jimmy Coming Home' are dedicated to his memory.
Adam M
Guitar teacher with 15 years of experience. A rock Guitar guru, as good as it gets and we are super privileged to have his dynamite in the tank. From boyhood, he has been perfecting his craft.

36 years playing drums, played in numerous original and cover bands across multiple genre, even playing drums at opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympics, such is his pedigree and versatility. He has an energy that vibes the whole band.

Founder, Manager, lyrics man when needed and a life-long lover of Hard Rock/Metal since he saw ACDC in Dublin 1977, this love catalyzed the founding and the set up of K2. He is determined to take K2 to the Summit.
